Here is the video game “Combat”! Released in 2001 on Windows, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's an action game, set in a sci-fi / futuristic, shooter, tank and platform themes.

I grew up playing on my moms Atari 5200 with the 2600 adapter. Combat being one of my favorite games to bust out when it was time to play multiplayer with the siblings. When I saw this title, I didn't think there was any correlation to this retro classic, but boy was I wrong! Not only to do you a solid (and challenging!) single player experience, you also get the classic Combat game on the Atari 2600 + an emulator buried in the files! I cannot recommend this game highly enough, you HAVE to try this out!
