Games like this showed how much better the C64 was compared to the rest of the 8 bit computers. One of the best platformers on the 8 bit beige box. Programmers were more talented back then, creating their own engines, algorithms, new tricks with code and getting the best from the hardware which were thought impossible. Now, the tech does the work, gets replaced before being really pushed, and any issues are just left with game engines "purchased" and reused. The self taught Rowlands Brothers got the best from a machine that the manufacturers thought wasn't possible and kept the C64 on the shelves longer than it should have been.

was one of my c64 favourits ever. had it on datasette. these loading times... :)
