I love Croc games, played them on PS1 years ago, very fun platformer/Collect-A-thon, pretty much the closest thing to a "Super Mario 64" clone you can get on a pc at the time, colorful graphics, googly eyed characters (popular trope during the N64 era) and a very basic plot of saving gobbos from the evil baron dante, the sequel "Croc 2" feels more like banjo-kazooie, with having a open hub world that you can access levels and complete some tasks not just rescuing gobbos and collecting crystals and talk to characters with the banjo-kazooie type gibberish speech. it's think this game is slighty better then the original but i still enjoy both games, i remember my first experience with this game is on the gameboy color back in 2002, i was 9 years old at the time, i remember hating it (you mostly push boxes and gets lost in maze-like level design, but the soundtrack had no reason to be this awesome and catchy, at the time i had no idea it's a port of a 3d platformer for PS1/PC. then i found out the GBC was ported by Natsume, no wonder the soundtrack was so good.
anyway the ISO for PC version of Croc 2 on this site might be broken/corrupt (it's not the first time it happened to me on myabandonware site), i installed on on my windows 98 machine, it installation went fine, but crashes when im trying to launch the game (tried multiple times). Croc 2 ISO version from "old games download" site works perfectly fine without any crashes.

@WIN10 You are saying that people should update to most recent Windows version, on a page for a old ass game that was made to run on older system in mind ? I hope you realize that this game was made when computers were running msotly 32 bit systems only and Windows 11 is 64 bit therefore 32 bit support is lackluster on there and you will have a hard time running any games like that without further tinkering and installing required 32 bit libraries.

It doesn't matter what version of Windows you use, and honestly saying you should always be on the newest one makes me laugh when you're on a site for abandonware, some of which won't even run on windows 11!!

guy below me, windows 7 doesn't come with a built in iso mounter, try using daemon tools
