Just herd them into a tight group, without them contacting you. When you see you can't move without making contact, use sonic screwdriver or teleport.

I think this game was inspired by the old 70's BASIC game "Chase" (later reprinted in David Ahl's _More_BASIC_Computer_Games_ book). The main difference is they were generic robots and you could teleport randomly instead of having sonic screwdriver.

I have not actually played the DOS version of this, but they used to have it on the black & white Mac's in my 7th grade typing class. I could never really figure out how to play without dying really fast...
