Here is the video game “Devastation”! Released in 2003 on Windows, it's still available and playable with some tinkering. It's an action game, set in a cyberpunk / dark sci-fi, sci-fi / futuristic and shooter themes.

For some reason the game won't install,like I click on the "setup.exe" ,it shows the install shield wizard 2 seconds and it disappears..

the multiplayer demo for this game was mad fun, bought it on day one expecting a good single player campaign to go along with it, couldn't have been further from the truth lol. But the gameplay and mechanics are solid, still a fun game.

I don't know why but in my memorie this game looks a little like Half Life 2. Maybe its juts my childhood foggy memorie... Lets see.

If your game doesn't open, try this:
-go the game's directory, and look for an .exe called "udb"
-make a shortcut out of it and name it "Devastation" (for practicality)
-use this .exe to play the game
Had to make this in order for the game to run on Windows 10.

...I remember this. It was hyped as some super advanced shooter with sophisticated AI and was launched in some pre-alpha state, an utter mess only to be patched step by step to some sort of playability before it got completely abandoned. It was perhaps a fun idea but they didnt have the budget to finish it. Perhaps fan communities worked on it but back then it was barely playable at all... let alone this shot multiplayer modus.
