Definitely a game I have fond memories of and can recommend.

Sadly lost my Cd right around when physical copies started getting phased out. I was able to aquire a copy of it, but playing on Win11 there is an audio bug with some sounds (horses, airplane engines, ...) looping until the application is closed - no known solution for the bug.
