How to play ExcaliBug Windows

Notes:

The game should work fine on modern systems, it was tested on Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 10. If the game doesn't work - try to launch it in compatibility mode with old version of Windows (Windows 98 or XP) and as administrator (right click on Excalibug.exe or desktop shortcut -> Properties -> Compatibility)
If it didn't help - run the game through dgVoodoo 2, that way the game should run with no issues
Be careful, the Russian version of the game was using infamous StarForce DRM! Make sure to use NoCD before the first launch, especially if you use 32-bit variant of Windows, to avoid the installation of StarForce DRM drivers. That NoCD showed few warnings on VirusTotal, it is safe to use, check this thread for more details about NoCD
Patch for Russian version is a StarForce update, it fixes the launch issues on Windows 2000 and XP. That patch showed many warnings because of StarForce files. DO NOT install that patch if you play the Russian version on modern systems, use NoCD instead

ExcaliBug supposedly had an English and German versions too, because we found English (https://youtu.be/_WZSz3dlHz8) and German (https://youtu.be/k_U-TRxrmTU) trailers of this video, plus there was a demo version on English.
