PETE,
Nice to hear from you again (we spoke on another forum year's ago after I'd mentioned how many hours my friends and I had spent playing this back in 1985 in my pokey bedsit).
I found out days ago on You Tube, and again today on a TV advert, that the Spectrum with rubber keys was being re-released with a few additions - especially 48 on-board games. I so wish Formula One was one of those 48!
I would go out and buy the new Spectrum if only I could play Formula One again! If that isn't possible, then I'd like to see it released as a retro release on the Playstation with editable teams and names.
I'm sure it would be a good introduction to the sport for the next generation of F1 fans.
Before I go, is your website still running where you made the game available to groups who wanted to play it online? I've tried looking for it but I've forgotten the website address.
Take care and thank you and George again for entertaining a generation of Racing fans.
Yours gratefully,
Martin (PCOFTQY)

P.S. re £sd: Was that a game where you had to win a million? I remember the title and I think I remember the game (like Formula One, I had it too). Great times!

Hi, as one of the original developers of this game, I have to correct an error. The game was released in time for Xmas 1984, not in 1983. George Munday & I were still developing it from end 1983 through to Autumn 1984. Our first game, "£sd", was published by CRL in 1983. Our last game, "Endurance", was published in 1985. Our planned 4th game, which we hadn't named, was abandoned in 1986 for a variety of reasons, mainly due to our main careers. Peter Wheelhouse

Here is a demo of the game. Loved it through the 80's; and the 21st century too!
