Grandmaster Chess

Description of Grandmaster Chess
One of the best games from Capstone (and given their miserable track record, that is saying a lot), Grandmaster Chess is an innovative chess game that sadly received far too little recognition in its time.
To compete with the dominance of Mindscape's Chessmaster series in home computer market, chess developers tried different approaches to differentiate their games from Mindscape's stable. Interplay tried animated pieces in Battle Chess series, while Capstone focused on "neural network technology" and an AI that was supposed to learn from mistakes. Grandmaster Chess is one of their best results - a game that looks good (it offers both VGA and SVGA modes) and plays an excellent game of chess. The AI does seem to learn from mistakes as far as I can tell, as it does not repeat the mistakes it made in the first few games. But mind you, my puny chess talent only allows me to beat the game on one of the easier settings, so your mileage may vary.
Anyone who wants a solid chess game that represents a different and innovative approach than Mindscape's familiar classics should definitely give Grandmaster Chess a serious look. Two thumbs up!

I've seen this pattern in the computer chess community for years. First people praise something, then they get used to receiving updates, features, and upgrades for free and that's a very good thing. We saw similar attitudes around previous engines and GUIs - Rybka, Houdini, Komodo, HIARCS Chess Explorer and others. Many people want professional-grade software, enterprise-grade stability, impeccable documentation, constant updates, and open-source access, completely free and legal. I think sharing will make life happier than being a stingy human being, making hair falling, pathetic and a golf course in the head. Thank you and respectful greetings

When I play this game, I feel like I'm playing chess. And that, of course, because it's a game of chess, yes, of course it's a great feeling, it's hard to explain why hair falls out and of course in the end there's a golf course on the head, yes of course. Thank you

This is an exciting game, I have been talking to the chess board for a long time but until now there has been no answer, even though it was a hint from my chess teacher. This made me even more confused, because the chess board never answered anything? Then I asked my friend, and my friend suggested that I talk to the surfboard and now frankly from the bottom of my heart I am getting more and more confused.

Me gusta mucho este juego, el ajedrez te hace pensar en cómo lidiar con la caída del pelo, tienes que preguntar al tablero de ajedrez y escuchar la inevitable calvicie crónica. ¡Muchas gracias

This game is very good, we have to look at it from a different point of view, we have to talk to the chessboard and permeate the strands of hair that fall out as an undeniable form of chronic baldness accumulation. Therefore I would like to express my gratitude and respectful greetings
