I've tried all three versions. What should I do if the game doesn't recognize my Enter key on the name entry screen? On-Screen Keyboard doesn't work, and while it does let me type in my name, that's where it ends. In my 20 years of playing this game, this has never ever happened to me until today.

I figured out what to do:
1. download the no cd file and replace the originalMnM.exe file with the no cd one.
2. open the config file and change card to OpenGL and leave it as the default.
3. all other settings are personal preference.
I am not sure why Direct3D won't work, but this fixed my game not loading and the game worked with sound and ran without any issues.

I was able to run the game using windows compatibility mod for windows 98/me and using the NOCD file, but all I get is a black screen I can't get out of. How do I fix it? I tried googling the answer but couldn't find anything.

I actually have a disc for this game but my PC won't recognize it because it's so old and has been used a ton, so thankfully I was still able to download it again because of this site!

To keep it simple, I was able to get the game running with the NOCD file, I even changed the compatibility of the game to "windows 98/me". But unfortunately, after pressing play the screen just remained black. It seems like it is having troubling displaying text as well. Main issue, after play, game remains black.

Used to be able to play it when I first installed and set it up. now It is asking me to insert disk and saying that It can't initialize the reader. anyone know how to get this running again? It would be nice to be able to play this in the future.
I have mounted the main file but it doesn't seem to fix the issue.

My virusware tells me that there are two viruses that are stopping me from playing the game. one when I set up, and the direct x7 file.

I have played this game entirely 8 times on an old computer in my house. The game is dated, but can have some sparks of excitement throughout the gameplay. I have personally very fond memories of playing it. It does, however have some problems with the position of the camera. When the camera moves, you cannot tell where you are going.

Locate the install directory
(in program files x86)
Replace the mnms.exe in the install directory with the no cd file.

help please...how do I use these files to play the game? If I click on the m&m's exe, it says to insert the disk. If I click non the no cd file, it says to run setup. I've run setup numerous times, and it doesn't help. If I try to run both files, it says "game already running". Is there a special way to install the files to make them work?
