I thought this game was something special, it had so many different levels, the skill set required was high, it was tough but left you always wanting to see the next level, of which there are several - not sure how many exactly but I got through a good five or six screens, I never beat it - haven’t seen a hacked cheat version either…. Still as 40 year old challenges go…. I will continue occasionally to try get further…. Might take me a few more years but I will beat it! I give it a strong 8/10. If you like a retro challenge play this…. Don’t give up, progress is it’s own reward.

A game that doesn't know what it wants to be,one minute it's a space shooter,the next a platformer,the next some kind of puzzle,the actions starts on a satellite,you're in a space ship,your mission to penetrate a defence shield and land you ship on a landing pad,sounds easy? it really isn't,the problem is the game tries to throw you a curveball at every turn,so a enemy flying saucer appears and bugs you,the shield you need to bomb needs to have at least 2 holes width or you'll never get through under gravity,if you land through the constant air munitions you have to land so softy or it just spins and explodes,then it suddenly becomes a platformer with a guy that looks like a 70's librarian,he toddles about as he's about as at home here as a cat in a dog kennel,as as you aim to shoot tree monsters and collect parts to build a horse skeleton,then every 4 minutes the game sounds an alarm and its back to the launch pad to defend the base from that dumb saucer thing,but your ship only fires boomerang bullets that go in circles?!,then back to again to curry the horse to water as you defend it,or collect apples or play a tune on a xylophone to kill more aliens,and every few minutes its back to the shooty outer space,it just comes off confused,frustrating and a wholly unfair game.
BTW the only good thing about the game is the musical nod to 2001 :A Space Odyssey!
