Extremely flashy graphics in mostly dark world, lights effect at its best. Persons and objects of interest are sometime hard to find in dark background.
IMPORTANT HINTS FROM NET
The game install routine from CD expects a cd label 'Noctrop'. Simply use -label Noctrop when mounting the drive and everything works fine!

both dark.exe and darkrun.exe works perfectly, not sure what the prob, check if you got xms ems enabled, and i recomend run dosbox through d-fend 2.0.62.

I got as far as installing it in dosbox but it crashed when I run darkrun.exe - is that the wrong program file?

#12844 Wrong Win plays XP games just fine, with a built in compatibility option. As for the Dos issue well that has been answered by someone else already. Go to properties of the file and go compatability, check it and drag the scroll options down.

#9888 the problem is lack of "Backward compatibility"
W7 can't play games for WXP, and this game is for DOS.
