Okay nevermind, if you're using Ubuntu, just play the Windows version via WINE, it's much easier that way, and it's still open source software so it's not the end of the world (would be if it wasn't open source, though).

I dont know why that one person is crying about SuperTuxKart not working on Linux, I never had an issue with the game for the last literally 8 years, maybe the story isn't done but it's got everything else including multiplayer and dozens of levels and high grade graphics.

This game, though, I can't get it to work on my setup. It says it can't find certain libraries because older versions of linux installed Libraries to a different folder from what is used nowadays. Would love to try the game, since I've played quite a few illegal sonic fangames, but, it doesn't seem so easy.

the last time i tried open sonic
i found out it is not finished. at all.
and they spent a few years working
on it allegedly... at that point.
it is discountinued. so what is the
point having it for dl here.
..and it is everywhere for download. also.
the same story as with supertux.
they claim to be working on that game too
since like 2005 or whatever...
and never even finished the 3rd world
i found that out on a playtrough
with the official supertux from their website.
