Description of Sailing ... An Adventure in The Bermuda Triangle
Nifty little sailboat simulator game in the Bermuda Triangle.
Sail three legs of the Bermuda Triangle picking up all swimmers and rafters stranded in the water. Then stop the clock and collect bonuses by sailing into port at the end of the leg.
Beware the storm, which will send you back to starting positions!

Oh my god! I totally forgot about this game. I played it so much on my PCjr! It's such a good game, and scary for a kid!

I can't believe you have this! I wrote this game while working as a programming intern at an engineering firm which specialized in analysing pipe support systems for the nuclear power stations. The game was written for the first generation IBM PC's running at 4.77 khz; I have turtles that move faster than that. The problem: I never considered what would happen when the processors became more powerful (my own private Y2K). My kids tried playing the game on you web site, but found it was impossible because of the simulated processor's speed. The result, the "Creeping Mist" does more of a sprint. If you could slow the processor you might be able to make game playable.
Still can't believe it's on line. Sailing was my second attempt at a videogame following "Chip Wars" which took place in a cow pasture. You do the math.
