Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe (aka SWOTL, 納粹飛行祕史) is a video game published in 1991 on DOS by LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC, Lucasfilm Games LLC. It's an action, strategy and simulation game, set in a flight, historical battle (specific/exact) and world war ii themes.
Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe has the following addons available: P-80 Shooting Star Tour Of Duty, P-38 Lightning Tour of Duty and He 162 Volksjäger Tour of Duty, don't miss them!

First game that let you straif the bailed out pilots parachutes, and watch them plummet to their doom. Have never managed to video the impact. Plane always hits first stopping the recording.
Replace 'N' with 'Y' in SW.BAT to enable joystick in DOSBOX

soundblaster instead of PC beeper.
Still not perfect when there are many planes.

Downloaded the addon disks--thanks very much! How do I add them to the game? Just unzip them and copy them to the main SWOTL directory?

Oh..what to say? I Can't believe it's going on 30 Yrs since this game came out! I still find myself playing for Hours, just as I did when i was...let's see....Young! Lol! First person gammes on x-box, playstation, etc..have come and gone. But SWOTL is STILL my Go-To game. If You Haven't ever played..Do yourself the honor! Warning tho..You will NEVER catch me and the 48 hour binges I've spent with my old friend..

I feel when i run this locally or emulated it does not quite run how I remember. Its a bit clunky. Should I speed it up or slow it down in dosbox? Thanks for the help!

I love this game! But I want to find the add on P-38 & P-80 tour of duty.Are they in the CD/ROM version?

There is not enough good I can say about this game and it's add-ons.
The flight model was a bit arcade but the replay ability and fun factors are off the scale. I still play this game to this day! The campaigns are tough but you want to play them, I have had so many pilot characters KIA that I have yet to finish all campaigns with all aircraft
