I do love Sonic games and the Windows XP version is itself abandonware, the steam version looks different.

STEAM's version is from Dreamcast Collection which just ports XBOX 360 ports to PC.
Original 2003 PC port is officially an abandonware. Similar to Heroes and Riders.

I got games off here before and I also had my antivirus constantly running in the background and it never alerted me for malware, viruses, ect., ect., and I even checked myself just to be sure, and I couldn't see anything suspicious. So yeah, files from this site are 99999% clean of those awful things. Lastly, I personally prefer the '03/'04 version compared to the Steam version. But I suppose you sadly can't always get what you want, can you?

quieres aprender a como ponerle mods a esta cosa?
NO TE PREOCUPES, yo te ayudare, primero, agarra el modManager, (que puedes encontrar en webs como game banana ;)) luego lo descomprimes en los archivos del juego, quedara algo desordenado pero eso interesa un pepino, despues abres el modmanager y le pones en install loader, luego te descargas todos los mods que se te den la gana, y pones los rars de los mods en la carpeta mods, los descomprimes y luego vuelves a abrir el modmanager, por cierto, no lo hagas en una carpeta aparte para que se ordene, eso solo hara que el modmanager no funione, bueno, luego de abrir el manager, te aparecera un monton de nombres con casillas a la izquierda, marcas el que quieras y pones en save, y luego abres el juego, prefiero que lo hagas en una copia original porseacaso pero, esto es una copia de el original supongo

I guess people really don't see the 2003/2004 version is actually better than the Steam version. Shows what people know I guess.

No Windows XP version? You're just gonna give us a Steam link, despite the fact that the Steam client no longer supports XP?
Yeah, thanks guys, because it's not like retro gamers exist or anything; people who prefer using older operating systems because support lifecycles exist and backwards compatibility can only do so much in the long-term. People who can benefit from abandonware sites like this, and you shut them off because "you can just get a modern version and run it on your newer PC! assumingyouevenhaveapowerfulenoughcomputertorunthatmodernversion"

It really wouldn't make sense if this game was still available given that this game is on steam.
