I don't think the versions here are any good, at least for Win11. Big Fish version doesn't boot, WildGames version refused to boot after the first time, and the Setup file just gives you the 60 minute trial version. I've found that the full-rip version on the Internet Archive works much better, haven't had any issues with it. This game is super fun btw, both really nostalgic and genuinely plays and looks good for what is at its core a card-based strategy game with a Spongebob tie-in. The deckbuilding itself is pretty fun and it's got 54 (albiet fairly small) levels too (9 worlds with 6 levels each), so plenty of stuff to keep you occupied.

I am so confused. I downloaded this and played it for about an hour. I had to do a couple things so I left this on while I went downstairs. An hour later I come back and the game seemed to had crashed. Now whenever I try to launch the game it sets the resolution to 640x480 gives me a black screen for a couple seconds, and closes. Even with a fresh install of the game, even in Win7 compatibility mode, even when running as admin... If I find out what I did wrong I'll post another comment.

Great game! I first thought it'd be a breeze because it's a children's game, but I was surprised to see enemies like the Dirty Bubble hit for 50 damage or more. If I didn't immediately make it a habit of spending Energy every turn on Defense cards, some of those surprise attacks from off-screen would've decimated me.
I played a glass-cannon build, opting for Belts that increase Energy and lower Max HP. It definitely helped keep me on my toes as I got to take more actions per turn at the risk of getting blindsided by enemies with unexpected move ranges, or who were just barely off-screen and moving in. That being said, I did not get a single Game Over (I got close twice!).
So props to this game for having a realistic amount of modular difficulty that an adult like me can enjoy, although that begs the question if the game might be difficult for a young child who does not properly know how to build a deck, bothers with Defense Cards, or has the foresight to control their spacing and Energy usage.
In all, a fantastic hidden gem of a SpongeBob game, and probably by virtue the best SpongeBob PC game I've ever played! I wish This Is Pop and Bumblebear acknowledge this more definitively.
P.S. You won't find the full game on this page.
