Fun fact: control-q cycles through alternate color schemes (but IMO they're not really any better than the default). This also worth with other Pinball Contruction Set tables, such as Black Box and Silly Master Blaster.
And apparently the Shift keys are setup to work by default (without remapping anything).

This is much, much better than you might expect for such an old and tiny game. The physics are pretty good and the sounds aren't bad for 1987.
A couple of things to note. First, the flippers seem to lag a little so you have to anticipate the ball position, and at times the ball seems to go right through the flipper, especially when you press the button too late.
Also, in dosbox, I recommend you remap the two shift keys to generate the joystick button presses. It makes the game much easier to play. (If you're using one the dosbox front-end menus, you can make the keymap specific to this game which is what you want.)
This game will amaze you with its play value.
