Wow I'm little bit surprised that no one has said anything about the game that brought us MASTERS OF ORION, which leads to the AWESOME MOO2. :D Yes clunky and essentially a prototype before they made MOO. But still you can see the ideas forming to what would make them stand out at the time as one of the greatest 4x space games every made.
