For anyone having problems where diagonal movement is busted and everyone seems to be moonwalking, the fix is to use dgVoodoo v2. Set it up, use default settings, remove the dgVoodoo watermark and movement in all directions will be available.

The other solution would be to NOT use Windows 8, Windows 10 or Windows 11 and install XP which the game was made for (Windows 7 should also work fine), but the software I mentioned is the easier solution. Also no, no compatibility settings fix it, I spent hours adjusting those.

I scoured the entire internet for days, downloading countless versions of the game from various different websites and not a single person mentioned this so I hope it helps.
