Chess engine with good playing-skills for the time it came out. ELO-rating is around 1850, which means - against such an engine, it makes alot more fun to play than against modern chess-engines, because the human player has a chance here, when he plays good. The C64 Final Chesscard can even be emulated in the M.A.M.E. emulator in the meanwhile.

Please note that this game was released with a physical cartridge that plugs into your C64, containing some extra RAM, an extra 5 MHz CPU etc, which does the actual chess calculation. You wont get much out of this game without the cartridge. There are ROM dumps of this cartridge, but AFAIK there currently is no way to run the cartridge in any emulator.
