So, as I launched the program, I came upon this weird 'glitch' where the screen of my PC would shrink into the middle, and pan the game. I tried launching the executable from files, and as a custom game from Steam. I also tried running the program as an administrator, and it did the same thing. If related to problem, I use Windows 11.

The one thing I would point out about this game is how in the intro screen, the coach looks like in the film. But in the main game it is the same colours but a completely different model. but other than that an amazing game. I only pointed this out because I had to.

Hello, does anyone got manual for this? I am curious to see the maps of the cities, and within the game there is no map, but I read somewhere that there are maps in the manual.

Guys, I was just about to try KAMYAR's advice, but I didnt even need to as suddenly this game seems to work on Windows 10... I have no idea how, but its running normally for me now. Can anyone else confirm this?

scanned the zipped folder - no threats found. Extracted the zipped folder and scanned that.... threats found. Deleted without launching. Recommend you don't download.

In response to "TizerisT 2021-09-24":
ive had the same problem on windows 7. heres how i fixed it:
1) click on windows Start button and right click on "Computer" and then select "Properties".
2) click on "Advanced system settings".
3) go to "Advanced" tab and under "Performance" section click on "Settings".
4) go to "Data Execution Prevention" tab and check "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select" and then click on "Add".
5) navigate to "The Italian Job" folder and add "TIJ.exe".
6) again click on "Add" and navigate to "The Italian Job" folder but this time go to "code" folder and then "exes" folder and then add all "exe" files found there. (this is because each mission in this game has a different "exe" file.)
7) after adding all "exe" files click OK.
8) run the game.

Hey Senorspoons, that coz this version is cracked to not need the CD, as well as all the achievements unlocked, and no damage, but it also does not required XP compatibility settings to run.
Wanna play it as intended?... . Download the ISO version from here:
https://archive.org/details/the-italian-job
Then install it as in a different folder to this version. After install is complete, iognore the install Direct X request, then copy the TIU.exe file from thsi version to the one you installed from the ISO. Game will work as it should.

The damage meter is not working and the music doesn't always play. What's going on?

I had this game on my grandpas old pc and i used to play it everyday when i went there. I absolutely loved it and i was reminded of it by a video on youtube about the lamborghini miura and then i thought "maybe i could play it again". And now here i am downloading it and just waiting for the most nostalgia i will get in a long time.

Not too sure why I boot up the .exe and get nothing appearing whatsoever. I feel like I'm just being a colossal idiot and missing something but I believe that isn't the case?

The 99 exe are correct I have the original and that is what it installs.

Thanks for confirming, I have the Gamecube version so I just used an emulator instead, PC version seems different from what I have read. Yes 99 .exes is quite odd even if none of them are malware, perphaps the developers thought it would be a headache for crackers.

These looks like false positive, checked with VirusTotal. Each mission is accessed through a different stg*.exe, this is quite unfamiliar indeed
