To run the game: Don't use in windows nt the out of box Video Drivers (If you're using NT), sometimes they don't work so perfect, install the original drivers if you're using video cards like a voodoo2 or even an ati rage 3d, even s3 is possible(Please don't use the S3 Savage, the driver stability is unstable, rather use the Virge it has better driver stability, the gx2 version on agp is better than the pci versions, performance is better than the specs on paper).

If you get DirectDraw problems, look at dxdiag or reinstall directx 6 or 5 (Depends on the GPUs directx support)

Don't think about installing the game on windows 10 or 11 the install won't work because of the 16 bit InstallShield installer.

If you don't have an old PC then look at dosbox or if you have a strong modern CPU in your new PC check out 86Box because of the emulation of the holy Falcon northwest voodoo3 3500 Special Edition (SE) clocked on 200mhz, it will guarantee you the extreme settings of all in Xgames pro boarder. Even Pcem is a good option to emulate hardware.

if you have a problem with the installer that it thinks you run on NT but you use win 98, that's probably a kernel error, uninstall kernelex or other kernel extensions.

I keep getting a "does not recognize Windows NT" even before it will install. Running in a Win 98 environment.

Attempting to get working on my windows 98 machine, but even though the install goes fine, I keep getting this error at startup

Access to this surface is being refused because the surface memory is gone. The DirectDrawSurface object representing this surface should have Restore called on it.
