I played this game tons of hours, localized in italian. It was the first time i had to aim with the mouse, it was clunky and not polished, but pionnered a concept later popular with Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament. What makes this game unique it's his survival nature, without ways of replenish health and lot other fun features (just one: the player can set explosive cameras and stay hidden somewhere, activate that camera and whait for an enemy to pass by and explode it in his face, lol). i always praised it in italian forums but, really, nobody played it.

I bought this from a bargain bin in Beatties back in the 90s, and asides from the awesome cutscenes every single character had, it was *awful*. And that was then! This is now, and my opinion still hasn't changed!

remember getting this one for $4 back in the early 2000s and remember thinking... this is quake3 before quake3. it was just... meh. interesting though, but meh.

This game works. But strangely enough you absolutely need to have it installed in the following path c:\XS\

If you have it in any subfolder, or other directory you will get errors when trying to launch it.

this is NOT WORKING, tried it with dosbox but it seems
like it's one of those HACKED BY SOMEONE games, hacked
by someone called hybrid so it seems it is in fact NOT an abandonware
game....what a shame.
