Description of 2112
A simple text adventure / IF game, 2112 places you in a theocratic communistic computer-directed dystopia and challenges you to improve your lot and your world's fate through individualism. Based on Rush's 1976 concept rock album of the same name.
It is the year Twenty-one Twelve. All aspects of life are strictly controlled by the state. The state is controlled by the Priests. The Priests reside in the Temple of Syrinx, where the Great Computers dictate the world plans. You are a sole citizen in this almost perfectly communistic society. Everyone has their place in society. Non-conformance is forbidden! Things such as art and music are strictly outlawed. All actions and thoughts are the product of the state. The reason why the world is in the shape that it is is from the non-conforming elder race of man, who destroyed themselves long ago.
Because the Priests are in total command, any discoveries are to be taken to them at once. Non-conformance to this law is punishable by death. Also, because all members of the state are required to support the state, do not tell ANYONE about any outlawed or newly discovered items. They will turn you in to the state as soon as possible.

Attention all planets on the solar federation. We have assumed control. We have assumed control. We have assumed control.
