A wrapper for XP, some lessons, Flight plans, a wind forecast.

Play this game, is fantastic !!! By the way , the creator, Hardy Heinlin put it in public domain, so it's all perfectly legal.

I gave up trying to run it in dosbox smoothly. Runs fantastic in win xp no flicker,smooth sound straight from the folder on the desktop had a look a ver.10 of this sim looks amazing

OK! You need this patch installed in the game DIR (http://www.aerowinx.com/downloads/dst_patch.zip)
You will ALSO need SMARTDRV.EXE in your games dir.

Hi Flyboy,
I know how to couple with flightgear not with fs2004 , the broker doesnt work on windows 64 sys , you have to use XP.
Next month I will try to find and post the extra files, Happy new year.

Thanks AAQARAB for the reply and info, have got it running on windows out of the box on a my xp machine using the 747batch file no probs and zero flicker but when I use this on windows7 I get a not compatible with 64bit, got dosbox from the link will give it a go.the extra files would be great if you find them
by the way how do couple to fs2004 as I have this on my xp

Hi Flyboy, in my previous post I made a mistake and named me mod, anyway I still have some program that goes with precision simulator for planning routes etc, I'll try to find them. Notice that till windows XP you can couple it with flightgear or fs2004 in order to have exterior graphics.

HI Flyboy, don't need to run it under dos , is a windows program just give it the location of your folder containing Precision simulator. I run it under windows 7 without problems , try again it is very worthy. By the way I use this version of dosbox , dosbox svn shaun http://ykhwong.x-y.net/ , less flickering and full screen.

the mod didn’t work for me i get a Run time error 209 at 5946:00b on dosbox when I run it. The rip version of this game has a folder named 747ps and the mod folder named ps13 tried copying contents of ps13 to the game and updating but still the error. How else can i run this game if not in dosbox? the open 744 site has lots of libraries and stuff but confusing

I just sent as a contribution an important file that adds lots of airports, sids and stars.
This is one the best simulators ever made. I spent many hours playing it , you can connect it to flightgear or flight simulator in order to improve the graphics.

advanced 747 flight training simulator aimed towards realism nearly all aspects of flying the 747 from full cold start-up to shutdown using all the systems in-between. Fuel management electrical it also has full working FMC (Flight management computer) which you can program your flights.
The main window is 2D Made up of about nine smaller windows or flight instruments some with multiple uses witch can be opened by clicking.

HAS TALKING ATC AND CO-PILOT

As I said at the start training simulator there no cockpit window as such
Just a small window at the top left-hand witch shows not a lot. This is a purely instrument flying experience ( IFR ) The simulation has dozens of flights and situations to try from takeoff ,ILS Approaches, full auto landings. And emergencies such as engine fire. And volcanic ash encounter. And
full FMC pre-programmed flights.

Loads better than Microsoft as real as it gets 2004/fsx 747

The in-depth PDF manual at over 900 pages or tutorial at 79 page will give all the info to fly this baby. cant believe its only 39mb I’m running it in dosbox with some issues mainly

Some screen flicker on some instruments but I don’t know if that’s how it updates its data. The game was never designed to run in dosbox and some sound clipping any surgeons welcome
