Command H.Q.
DOS - 1990
Also released on: Mac
Description of Command H.Q.
From Brian Moriarty's tribute to Dani Bunten: "Microprose took up the cause of modem-based wargaming in a big way with the 1990 [Dani Bunten] release, Command HQ, which boasted a simple, clean user interface that made historical strategy more accessible than ever, and racked up impressive sales." The game features many hypothetical scenarios, good graphics, and competent AI for when you can't find a live human opponent. The modem play is also excellent - making the game one of the first truly playable multiplayer wargames. Recommended!

I actually bought the original game back in the early 1990s and have the manual and 5.25 floppy. But i have no device to read old media. Am not going to rebuy a game that i already own because of some greed copyrighter.
The game is now available 2020-05-27 2 points DOS version
on GOG.com
I am mentioning it as I rather see them get part of the money than Steam or Retroism.

The copyright owner came too late as far as I'M concerned! Already grabbed it! \(^_-)/
Is the copyright owner also expecting me to erase it from my HD now? Hehehe...

Command H.Q. - global wargame in real time, with the possibility of multiplayer. The graphics are quite architectures and represents a world map with dots units. Depending on the complexity of the game features land, sea, air and nuclear forces. All the moves, you can record and then to show the recording.

Copyright owner, shame on you, ditto - this is no way to honor Dan Bunton

I'm sorry about that, but the copyright owner required us to remove the file.

Too bad the link is dead (no download), NOT a good way to honor Dan Bunton.

The download only links to some self-glorifying page about the game's makers.
