This is not an .iso, it's 2 files inside a zip folder. I was never given an option to mount it.

Hey everybody! Right now I'm writing a bit of a guide about how to get this one 100% working on Windows 10, but for now I can say that:
-Hey @AL24, use dgvoodoo2 with the game (patched and NoCD fixed with 1.20E) to run the game!
-The music is something related to the audio tracks; if you have the mp3 files extracted from the ISO at hand, you can use _inmm to patch the game and play them back.
If you have an idea about how to do these, then you're all set to go! If you don't, then just wait until I get that guide done...or I might upload a new pre-packaged version as I used to do years ago; the nickname similarity is not a coincidence ;)

One last thoght: Daemon shuld mount the ISO in the "D" drive letter if not the music won't work.

Install Windows XP SP3 on Virtualbox
Copy the ISO of Daytona USA Deluxe on Windows XP desktop.
Install Daemon Tools 3.47 on Windows XP
Mount ISO, install Daytona, if fails, install with Windows 98 compatibility
In Daemon Tools tray icon, right click and select "ANALOG AUDIO" (this is the key feature you're look for)
Install DirectX Web download. Don't have time to try the DirecX version that comes within the ISO.

Daytona USA needs the CD to be in the A: drive for music to work. To get music working do this:
1 .Mount the ISO with something like Daemon tools
2. Open "Computer Management" as an administrator
3. click Storage Disk Management
4. right click the Daytona drive
5. Click "Change drive letter", Click change button and set the drive to A.
6. Run Daytona and music should be working.

I have mounted the ISO with Daemon Tools 3.47 on Windows 98 but the Music does not play. Any Ideas? I launched the game from the virtual CD after installing and from the start menu and neither seems to fix it.

tossbag, music may be Redbook, normal CD audio tracks, as you would have to download the ISO version and run with that in a virtual drive. It might not work with all virtual CD drives. Redbook was most common at the time, and explains the difference between rip and ISO sizes.
