Windows - 2001
Description of Disney's The Emperor's New Groove
Description from the publisher:
The Emperor's New Groove, about a young, selfish Incan ruler named Kuzco, is based on the Disney movie of the same name. Kuzco's power-hungry adviser Yzma plots to kill him and claim the throne, but accidentally transforms Kuzco into a llama, instead. After being rescued by a good-hearted villager named Pacha, Kuzco begins a journey to locate a magic potion that'll turn him back into a human, so that he can reclaim his throne. Players will explore eight worlds during this quest, with gameplay mixing movie-like visuals, puzzles, fighting, platform-style action, and comic rapport.

How to play Disney's The Emperor's New Groove Windows
Install & play guide:
- Mount the disc image. You will need the utility for mounting disc image files, like WinCDEmu, UltraISO, Alcohol 52%/Alcohol 102% or Daemon Tools Lite
- Install the game
- Also it is recommended to install DirectX from the disc (inside the disc image in "Setup" - "DirectX" folder)
- Open the directory with the game and find groove.exe. Right click on groove.exe - Properties - Compatibility - Set "Run this app in compatibility mode with Windows 2000 or Windows XP"
- Launch the game and play. If the game doesn't run - open Task Manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del by default) and check for processes groove.exe and rundll32.exe. Close groove.exe but don't touch rundll32.exe (it's a Windows app for running old apps from 32-bit operational systems, most old games running through rundll32.exe). Now try to launch the game again, it must work. Don't forget to close rundll32.exe process in Task Manager after finishing playing.
- The game has been tested on Windows 7 64-bit, works fine. The game supports widescreen
Troubleshooting:
- Sometimes game may crash in random moments, also the game may freeze when you quit it. In that case just close the game process through Task Manager

For a long time, I'm in search for German PC version of this game (I played that version a long long time ago). If someone has it, it would be great to upload it here !

I had trouble getting the game to run in a playable way on Windows 10. I was able to launch it, but the graphics had issues and it kept crashing before I could make my way through the main menu.
Emulating the PS1 version worked fine, though (had to download it from a different site of course). I actually ended up emulating it on a N3DS with custom firmware through RetroArch, but I'm sure it would work fine on any PS1 emulator installed on a PC. :)

The game crash after 5 minutes. If you has luck, then you can complete a level. The game crash 8x on the night level, before i can complete it. If the game crash, you lose all level progress on the last start from the game. So you need after complete a Level, close the game under the main menu and open it again
Speedrun the game or you need a lot of level restarts
