Hi Whiteclaw,
Are you able to advise, how to run setup file under win 11, I have tried two CD emulation programs, changed operation system compability to win 98/ xp/ 8, running with admin rights but nothing changed, setup doesn't start.
I would be happy for any thoughts regarding the matter.

I see NIGHTHEARTED has the same problem I initially had, but I got this game running under Windows 11 - presumably this method works on other Windows versions as well. You should not need to install the video codec or DirectX the game offers to install at the end of the installation. I did not and videos worked.
The important thing here is that the program that is provided to remove the copy protection, the DeProtector tool, has an "Options" tab next to the "File" tab - and you have to enable the "Newer CD-Cops" option for it to work properly. That should do it! Note that you have to run the DeProtector tool as an admin if you install the game to the default directory. The game will also complain that you do not have the correct CD, the trick there is to hit "cancel" and the game will start.
There is an additional quirk that happened when I used WinCDEmu, and which may or may not apply to other similar programs, where it will eject your CD when you start the game and refuse to run. You then have to re-mount it while you keep the "missing CD" notice open, then hit "cancel" as described above.

I keep trying, but nothing happens when I double click the exe. I don't even get a crash error. And yes, I'm trying the exe the software for removal of protection creates, because the original exe asks for the key number which is nowhere to be found. I installed the additional software that comes with the game to make sure it has the right softwares to run and the network exe works fine, so I'm not sure what's happening. If anyone was able to make it work and would kindly explain how, it'd be much appreciated. Windows 7 here.
