The game should work fine on modern systems, tested on Windows 10. If the installation doesn't start - run Setup.exe in compatibility mode with old Windows OS and as administrator. If the installed game doesn't start - run it in compatibility mode with old Windows OS, like Windows XP

Notes:

It is recommended to install all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and NET Framework for the correct work of the game. Also it is recommended to install K-Lite Codec Pack for the correct work of in-game videos
The game works on DirectX 9, so if you're using Windows 8, 8.1, 10 or 11 - you need to enable DirectPlay: Go to Control Panel, and select 'Programs'. Select 'Turn Windows features on and off', click on 'Legacy Components' and check the box 'DirectPlay'. Select OK, once the installation is done, restart your computer
At the first start the launcher of the game will ask to enter the serial key, enter one of serial keys from the text-file. If the launcher says that the serial key is not valid - simply click on "Cancel" and start the game, that serial key is required only for multiplayer game
If the game doesn't start on your system - try to use fixed executable file, that executable should work better with modern systems. It works fine with English version of the game, and probably will work for other languages too
Deep Fritz 10 is the version of Fritz for multi-core processors and supports CPUs with one to eight cores. Deep Fritz is a "parallel" release of Fritz, the first release of Deep Fritz was with the release of Fritz 6, it has the same content as the regular Fritz, but with better positional understanding and additional endgame knowledge
Rip of Deep Fritz 10 is "unofficial" compilation by Elgindy, it also includes Chessbase 8 & 9. All audio files were removed to decrease the size. If you have troubles with that Rip - check this thread (it is on Russian, use the translation machine)

I think chess is in coins. Humans forever play in one face. Now I'm playing on another face: "Antichess". Computers are like fortres where the owner forgets to close the small door at the back. You must enter through this door. Forget the front, but I forgot the side door, and in the end I chose to breed donkeys, oh it's so beautiful
