I play in this game on DOSBox SVN Daum Build (ykhwong's) 0.74 and its work correctly.

Works great in Dosbox 0.74! Remember to first run the "Install" file *in* Dosbox to set up the sound and mouse (if you want to use the mouse), and then run gx1.exe. Haven't made it far enough in to see if this includes the 2nd half of the game or if its limited to the shareware version, but I can confirm the game works great so far : ).

I managed to get this to run through DosBox...The music works fine and gameplay is decent but i noticed the intro video with the news caster cuts short and there are no sound effects (shooting and stuff)...any recommendation?

Don't forget to run the "Install.exe" of the game. You can select there the
sound settings (DMA, IRQ etc.) and also the input device (important!) for using
mouse or keyboard etc.
With DOSBox 0.74 I have no problems - after running this tool....:)

I played this game a lot as a kid, but this version is disappointing. The mouse does not detect when loaded in DOSBOX and regardless of the mouse help tips from the DOSBOX FAQ's, the mouse won't lock or auto-detect. Keyboard controls only and with this game it's difficult. And I cannot save my progress like you used to, or can't figure out how.
