How to play High Noon Mainframe
Retrogamer Benedict kindly shared this very old game:
Hello, I would like to send another new mainframe game. It is a text-based called Highnoon and dates back to December 09, 1970 (Based on the source code). The game was designed and programmed by Chris Gaylo. This might as well make it one of the oldest games on your website.
I've retrieved the original December 1970 source code of the game and the full game is ready to play (With the help of Microsoft's BASICA program of course). The mainframe game was restored and made compatible with DOS and DOSBox emulators.
CONTENTS INCLUDED: .BAS file (Game file), Microsoft BASICA, instructions to run the game, some info about the game, as well as four photos of the original paper from 1970 containing the source code (Once again, dating back to December 09, 1970!). DOSBox is also required to play this old game.
