Played this yesterday and enjoyed it! :) Backtracking is a bit tedious, there's no manual save, and you WILL need a guide to complete (I strongly suggest using USH-Hints). Also! Game doesn't pause in Menu - be wary of that. Each section of the game is divided into Parts, that upon completion or death, close the game and bring you back to Desktop. After completing Part 1: The Diary, you'll need a code to unlock the rest of the game. I found the user manual on manualmachine & used this code: GILWIEMINECKKINPECFAU8

Set Compatibility to win98 and "Run in 640x480 screen resolution", it works for me :)

I opened it and all it did was shrink my resolution and show all the intro credits, then closed itself. :(
