oh and change the exe of the game to something other than game.exe to fix the performance. Never let a game be called game.exe or else it will inherit years of nvidia tweaks intended for other games

Ok after much suffering. I learned a lot. This game is incredible. Its hard. But fair. The camera sucks. The learning curve with the horrible camera is wild.. But ive mastered it now. Aside from the controls the game is a masterpiece.

No matter what the game doesnt let me use right joystick to look around. I tried everything. There is a dual joystick controller preset but that doesnt work either. So I still have to use the controller bumpers to rotate the camera. Perhaps xpadder will let me emulate look left/look right to my right joystick. (i didnt think of that till just right now). There is no looking up or down unless you enter first person mode.

For controller support. Upon launch, click controller config, In the dropdown arrow select the first option, defaultcontroller profile. BUT FOR SOME REASON "inventory" is set to keyboard i. Change it to clicking down a joystick (thats the only free/available button on controller i chose the right joystick)

You still have to use keyboard escape menu to make saves and stuff. The game has a weird input bug where sometimes my keyboard only works if the controller is on as well? Strange.

When you pick up items in this game. DO NOT LEAVE THE ROOM! You must put the item into your jacket first by pressing the inventory key! Or else he holds the item in his hand and it dissapears upon level-transition!

when you reach the cup-throwers you need to jump on a bed and grab the ledge and climb up.

Theres also another slightly confusing jumping puzzle where your daughter is hanging from the ceiling above. When you get to the top there will be a short cutscene. Then you seemingly appear at the start of the room again. This is supposed to happen. Dont try and climb up to the top again. Just leave and go back to your office from the start of the game. Now push the cabinet in your office to the left.

theres a segment where a door is on fire you need to go through. This part confused me. You need to find a small closet with a water barrel. It doesnt respawn so you only have one chance to carry it to the corner of the room. And toss it on the fire. Kill the enemies in this room first. Otherwise you will just have to let him punch you while you carry the barrel. You cant put it down.

when the table is blocking the door in the amphitheatre, go to the right of it and hit it, it will unblock the door

Best graphics style ive ever seen! However the game is buggy. Things just do not work how they should. You pick up an item. Carry it into a different room. Items gone forever. Load an old save. Items still gone. MUST load a hard save. for it to show again.

I got a key to a nearby door. It didnt work. I had to load an old save then it worked the second time i tried

untested stuff like this should warrant the devs being beaten with a flip flop
