How to play Kuma\War Windows
This game was suggested by retro-gamer FridaLaDogga who also shared pre-installed version of the game (Full-Rip). The game has many missions that can be played in singleplayer or online, there's also online cooperative mode where you can play singelplayer missions with friends. Also, you can play it in multiplayer versus other players, you can find other players on this Discord server
FridaLaDogga tested that game with friend on Windows 10 & 11, here's some important moments that you should consider if you want to play the game on modern machines
Notes:
- If the game doesn't work - try to launch it in compatibility mode with old version of Windows, it is recommended to run it in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP3
- For the correct work of the game, you need to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, especially Visual C++ Studio 2005 and 2008 versions. And you probably will need to install .NET Framework 2.0 (included in .NET Framework 3.5 )
- Your anti-virus may trigger some false-positive warning about possibly malicious file, but it is safe to use, here's VirusTotal report
- Full-Rip includes the latest version of the game available online, but looks like it doesn't include the cinematics that were present in the retail version
- Unlike the retail version, this version doesn't require activation key
- It is possible to run the game in widescreen resolution. To do so, create a shortcut for the game and add the desired resolution as a launch parameter. Please note that while the main menu may not change, the in-game display should adjust to the new resolution
- The game cannot be played in windowed mode, even with apps like Borderless Gaming or DxWnd
- It's worth noting that the game doesn't "like" when you minimize it with Alt+Tab, as it may lock the mouse at the center of the screen. And if you will press Alt+Tab during multiplayer match, the game will crash. Additionally, the game probably won't work correctly on multi-displays setup
Notes about multiplayer game:
- If you want to play the game in multiplayer, you can use OpenSpy to emulate the server. According to this video, that method is working and multiplayer still can be played in 2023
- Alternative method is to use LAN emulators, like Hamachi or Tunngle, or tunneling service like Zero Tier or Playit.gg, FridaLaDogga recommends to use Playit.gg. The game's netcode is very good, so even when you will be playing through tunneling service, the response time will be like 5~10 ms
- The game may crash when you try to join or create a multiplayer server, for unknown reason. That happens on some computers, probably compatibility issue with modern systems

Hi, I'm trying to install this but can't get past the "Enter CD key", is this provided somewhere and I've missed it? Cheers.

When you have Six Days in Falluja at home.
The game is decent if you like old tactical-shooters like Deadly Dozen, Hidden & Dangerous and OG Ghost Recon.
This game definitely run on Deadly Dozen engine so the gameplay, the controls, the UI are almost same as Deadly Dozen.
You play as one of a four-men squad(you can also switch characters at anytime) and can give them simple commands like, Follow me, Hold, Fire at Will and Hold Fire...
You can set custom resolution by the commandline "-w XXXX -h YYYY". The main menu only shows in 640x480 but when missions starts it will be your disire resolution.
