@bozowait That was Fist 2!

Hi , I believe you are referring to "The last ninja"

i remember a game about martial arts for the c64, in which the player would not only fight, but also advance on foot. he would go inside jungles, villages, and meet enemies and had to fight them to get through.

no, i'm not talking about karateka.
this game i'm talking bout had similar graphics to exploding fist, but the scenario was, as said, dynamic, and not static like exploding fist.

does anyone remember it, and the title?
i looked pretty much everywhere and found no signs of it. it's not a figment of my imagination, i played it a lot. thx.

This game was like Medal of Honour back in the day. Groundbreaking fighter. Then IK+ came along and it was the new Call of Duty that made people forget about Medal of Honour.

I bought this when it was first out and played it to death. The bonus stage is where the bull charges you. At first I just use to jump the bull, but then discovered you can knock it out with a punch if you time it right. This is actually a reference to karate legend Mas Oyama who actually did fight bulls barehanded.
