For those who don't remember or didn't even know that exists, there was a canadian Maniac Mansion tv sitcom, produced by Lucasfilm, with 3 seasons, 66 episodes in 1990. The show wasn't a big deal, because was more family friendly than the game. Even so, I am surprised that in 34 years, this show was never restored to DVD or to Disney +.

Lol, 8 years later, there is no more version to complain about =)
Well I got it on GOG, however, doesn't it feel a bit absurd ... well well ...

Played this game with my dad when I was a little kid. It took us forever, but we finally beat it. I replayed it again when I was older and discovered you could play it on Day of the Tentacle.

For AGES i've been looking arount the internet on how to run the ENHANCED version of this game without having to use ScummVM. And i just found it. The English version they provide on this site is actually the crappy old version. But if you download the Spanish or French version, it's the new version. To run it in English, download the LFL files from this link: http://www.emuparadise.me/roms/get-download.php?gid=95926&token=3d1f301597fd33699f44d60e1f1ade61&mirror_available=true
And replace the files that come with the Spanish/French version. Voila! You got the new version in English!

I GOT TO THE TELESCOPE AND INSERTED THE DIME, MOVED IT LEFT FOR FUN (TO SEE THE MARTIAN) AND I GOT: "DISK ERROR. PRESS BUTTON TO CONTINUE" THEN IT LOOPED. CAN ANYBODY CONFIRM IF THE GAME WORKS PAST THIS POINT? SHOULD I HAVE JUST MOVED THE SCOPE TWICE TO THE RIGHT INSTEAD??"
