Here's how I have it working on Windows 11:
Mounted the ISO copied the contents to the hard drive
Then go to the "MDKitchen\Assets" folder and copy "bootfile.boot" to the "MDKitchen" folder.
Modify the properties of My Disney Kitchen\MDKitchen\MDKitchen.exe (right-click on it and select Properties):
Set compatibility to Windows 98 / Windows Me
Set to Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution
On launch it does still give a command-line error, but then works fine.

Is there a way to make the resolution higher? I cant seem to figure it out. I keep exiting the border for the game and causing the script error popup. I was wondering if its easy to make it fit my screen.

I downloaded (with a windows 11 pc) and i struggled to follow the instructions to copy the bootfile because it did not allow me to paste anything in the MDkitchen folder (it said there was no space, yet my pc had tons of space. I solved the problem by pasting it into another folder outside the MDkitchen folder (for example: my storage or make a folder on the desktop and paste it in). It still was confused but after clicking around randomly it worked lol

My Disney Kitchen has malware attached to it, specifically Worm:Win32/Rimecud!inf, so you may want to look into that and remove any viruses.

It worked here, thank you very much! A beautiful game and certainly magnificent for children's creativity. It's impressive to think that it's 25 years old and yet it's better than modern games like Disney Dreamlight Valley where you cook pizza in a soup pot. To stop the "scripting error occurred "(no such object)"" message, keep your cursor inside of the game window.

If you are attempting to to run this without a cd, run the .exe from the MDKitchen folder, not the Assets folder

Technically runs, but I get an error every few seconds that cites a scripting error occurred "(no such object)"
Any ideas?

To run this without a CD, copy the "MDKitchen" folder from the CD. Then go to the "MDKitchen\Assets" folder and copy "bootfile.boot" to the "MDKitchen" folder. Then run the "MDKitchen.exe". ta da!
