How to run game under Windows 11:

First, here are two paths:

Path 1:
c:\Users\Username\My Documents\My Games\PDC...Darts 2008\...

Path 2:
c:\Users\Public\Public Documents\My Games\PDC...Darts 2008\...

This also works on Vista.

First, disable User Account Control:
Control Panel \ User Accounts.

Go to the installation folder.

There you will find two .exe files. Make the following changes to both of them:

Right-click → Properties → Compatibility tab → check “Run as administrator” and select compatibility mode for Windows 95 or Windows 98 / Windows ME.

The save files will now no longer be stored in Path 1, but in Path 2.

Run the configuration file, adjust the settings, save, and then close the program.

When you start the game now, you can already save, but the game will only run in the default resolution, usually 640×480.

To play in your configured resolution, you need to do the following:
Go to Path 1, find the file Config.ini, copy or cut it, and paste it into Path 2.

Now you can play the game in your preset resolution.”
