Looks like Sonic 3D Blast is being delisted from all storefronts on December 6th, so we'll finally be able to put the actually decent versions of the game on here.

Please reupload the Windows version, as this version *is* abandonware. Sonic 3D Blast on Steam is emulation of the Mega Drive/Genesis version, which is a DIFFERENT game from the Saturn/PC Sonic 3D Blast released in 1997.

The Windows/Saturn version should still be considered abandonware as the version available to play on steam is the Genesis version which has a considerable number of differences.

@ThePuzzleBoy I think it's 'cause there would be the possibility of getting copyrighted. Sad, I know, but better than having the entire site go down.

I feel like you should make an exception here, since the version on sale on Steam is the Genesis version, not the PC/Saturn version, and has a significant number of differences from that.

While the Genesis version is available to buy on Steam. The Windows PC/Saturn version isn't available at all to purchase either. Some would argue that it is the superior version with a new enhanced intro, CD quality music, better graphics as welll as fully 3D special stages which are not present in the Genesis version but on the Windows/Saturn Version.
I own multiple copies of the Genesis version of Sonic 3D Blast on various platforms like my original Genesis, Both Gems Collection on Gamecube and the European PS2 Release, Sonic Genesis Collection on both PS3 and 360, the Steam Release and the PS4, Switch and X-One of the most recent Genesis Collections, look all I am asking for is the superior version to be made available in some capacity since that version is still argued to be Abandonedware.

I'm just gonna quote something I've posted on Mastodon, since I can't bother writing something more original. (I've also avoided the inclusion of the more colorful language I used there.)
"So, just because it's on Steam (which BTW, its client requires Windows 7 or higher), that automatically means that there shouldn't be download links for platforms THAT RETRO PC GAMERS WOULD ACTUALLY USE?!!?
Thanks, guys! Really putting your heart in the right place, especially for the people who can barely make ends meet!"
