Has ANYONE been able to get the Windows download to work (as of 7/2025)?! I'm running it on Windows 10 in compatibility mode for Win95 (and XP) but it keeps saying:
"Unknown Problem While Loading The Specified Device Driver".
Please help, if you've by some miracle been able to get this game to run on modern architecture. Thanks!

The original games Sonic 1 through 3&Knuckles including CD on steam are no longer being sold so its abandoned again.

even if sonic cd became available, this specific version of it never became available on steam, only the 2011 remaster that is different in many ways. not to mention the fact that sonic cd isn't available on steam by itself anymore anyway

If there was a Japanese soundtrack version, I would download ASAP. The American soundtrack is creepy, if you ever heard the fun is infinite...

The Windows version is not an .iso, it's a .zip file. Meaning that you can't hear any of the music in the game.
