Good but very difficult mostly due to fact of many random actions. For example putting bandages on would does not always work etc. A game for real hardcore RPG fans.

This game was so revolutionary at that time and unique, just like System Shock was. This one, like System Shock, deserves a very good remake, with full voice acting, fullHD or 4K RT gfx, with the adjustable windows optional, no pixelart, no multiplayer, no microtransactions. Something like a crossover with System Shock 2023 and Legend of Grimrock (without the bugs).

DOS games back in the day had an install.exe program or setup.exe program you could run to set the options. So before I even tried to play the game, I ran the install.exe file at the DOS prompt. If you had selected Reconfigure hardware options, you would have found in that menu after the sound setup, that you can change the language option from french to english.

For anyone else reading, you need to simply type, install, at the DOS prompt and after pressing space to go through the manual update thing, you should have 5 or 6 options to choose from. So choose Reconfigure hardware options, you'll choose the sound device you want to use, should be default soundblaster pro (later) my setup is 220, IRQ is 7 and DMA is 1, and I think it's after that you get 3 options for language. It's already set to French so just press space on English and you'll be good to go. Don't try to actually install to a directory as you need to insert disk 1 and well, the game will run perfectly fine after you extract it from the rar file. But to change the language you have to run the install program.

the game is in france. why you installed it in france?? i can't change the language to english. there's message say: insert disk #1 & press enter when i try to install it again in english language. how can i supposed to do that?? dosbox doesn't emulate insert disk. you suck! and i hate you.

This game is awesome and anyone who likes dos games and hasn't played this yet should check this out for a solid 100 hours of enjoyment. It's not an easy game by any means. It's challenging but the far out storyline will keep you you interested.
