@Yikes Dear God, talk about a grim joke indeed. The "storming" of the capitol building has happened a lot of times before- and often in more disasterous fashion-, most of the "Trumpists" were let in by the perimeter guards (who the DC leadership refused the offer of National Guards to help bolster... from Trump), and the "explosives were found" turned out to be a joke.

Not unlike how the truth about Sicknick's death of natural causes was concealed for months.

In the end, it's a freaking game. And anybody who is trying to conflate what happened on Jan 6th with the horrifying, murderous nightmare that was the American Civil War is unserious and immature.
