The DOS version still works out of the box on Windows 11 Pro 64bit. I love this game, I think it's super silly and fun, and I love the mechanics. A few issues I noticed:
-This does NOT work out of the box with wine on Linux Mint. I didn't mess with it too much, but it crashed with a severe error.
- There is no mortician in this version, a damn shame. No beddy bye for this private eye :(
-The warehouse ending sequence freezes, if this happens, pause and unpause the game (hotkey P, or mouse to control- pause)
-I don't think the shooting the code into the safe works! I will never know who shot Johnny Rock!
I picked this up after seeing the grumps play it and I loved it, absolutely worth giving a shot. My rec, do NOT play with a controller, this is so clearly meant to be a game played with a mouse, or with a gun peripheral at an arcade.

Dos version is not Dos version its Windows rerelease from 2003 by Digital Leisure(purchased American Laser Games publishing rights in 2000)! Game is pretty much same(dont have menu bar bottom of screen and missing hard difficulty) as old version so if you just want to try it its not problem.
Works with Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

Game is not terrible but definitely not good, try it if you like FMV shooters otherwise skip.
Theme and locations are not bad, but video quality is bad, sometimes hard to see enemies.
Gameplay have some trial and error and randomness(its good, game is very short if you play it few times and know where enemies can be).
