Description of After the War
After the War is a video game published in 1989 on DOS by Dinamic Software. It's an action game, set in a post-apocalyptic, sci-fi / futuristic and beat 'em up / brawler themes, and was also released on Commodore 64, Amiga, MSX, Amstrad CPC and Atari ST.

I mean, you are playing it on an Amstrad CPC. Maybe it was better on another version?

holy shit this game is really horrible.
don't even use kick, cause everybody just dodges it anyways. the only redeeming quality about this game is that you can choose the controls. I absolutely implore you not to download this game, unless you like shitty games then be my guest.
