A very hard game that needs practice to play beyond the 3rd screen, you start out jumping around the screen as a little droid that looks like a metal chicken while being shot at,and the defenses activate quickly so it's not east from the start.
Jumping onto platforms can be hard as the droid doesn't seem to make it and fall through at times, that could be me not jumping high enough.
Switches need to be pressed to open doors, barrels of fuel need to be moved to activate generators,as all the while acid dripping, lasers and other flying drones attack you, once you get the idea of how to play the keys then become hideous,at least the placement is far apart,no remapping is offered, joystick is a thing but on vm my game pad has no drivers.
The game offers to run off the iso,so it won't save your progress,i don't know if installed it would do that.
It gets really hard early on,the obligatory green pool of acid and tiny platforms is the level that either make or breaks your progress,i fluked a pixel perfect jump on to a moving platform, but as things drop down and a cannon shoots across the top of the screen,it demands timing, got over the jump but i fell off, having to replay the jump is beyond painful.
A nice idea, some well rendered droid animations, reminiscent of Rise of the Robots, that being in 1994,this game is 1996 so i think there's some cross pollination there.
Only runs under VM or emulation...
