You can download the steam version on the site called OVA Games.
Use the R/Piracy Megathread to find the list of trusted torrent sites. You'll see it.
I'm not risking linking it.
Thankfully, one site has it. Enjoy!

This is the OG version with the buggy port
Steam version is the same as this minus the bugs and controller support.
This one you need the Jenova patch/trainer can swop cloud for Sephiroth which is cool but may crash the game
steam ver isnt a remaster turst me its the same just fixed bugs does have a built in trainer as well

Get final fantasy 7 to work on a psx emulator *aid*. burn copy of the game on a computer if your have the cd's still from psone. Emulator get epsxe for pc. Android duckstation or xebra.
to gain a legal copy of psone Bios use a psp to get the psone Bios from the file called POPS_01G.PRX. a softmodded psp is needed. push select to open the pro vsh menu. change usb from memory stick to flash. connect to a computer and files may be hidden to reveal hidden files inorder to see them. In a hidden folder called kd/POPS_??G.PRX. different psp models have different versions of this file. after getting the. prx file put in a folder on psp called enc and acquire the PRXdecrypter_27a_fix file place in psp/game folder. use prxdecryter with psp and decompress .prx file. it will be 1.114mb.
Now use a program on pc called HxD a hex editor program. open up the decompressed pop.??g.prx file based on which version of psp you have. search text "sony computer entertainment inc." once found surrounded by alot of 00 00 00 and in the "decode text" read cex 3000/1001/1002 by k.s///go 16 spaces=(or offsets) upward then from the beginning of that spot right click select block/ start offset=53??0 (ex:53ce0) or 54??0 (ex:54D00) question mark meaning your version of the file location for the area... length=80000 then click okay.
when code highlighted go to "file" and save selection save contents as scph.bin. you can then open the newly made bios file up using HxD to check the code. offset 108 sony computer entertainment inc. should begin spelling in decode text. offset 7ff32 system rom version 4.5 should begin spelling in decode text. End of offset code should be 7FFF0. A 512kb file should be result.

Can this version or port of the game is compatible with Different Mods?
Cryptic 2020-05-01 4 points
But the version on steam is a remastered version. It’s not the original version from 1998

As Cryptic said. PC port is abandonware, release it and f** Sony. This happens with all PS games with PC ports with cash bags icons. They are all abandonware.
