Possible Solution This worked for me. download and install Nglide, as retrogamer stated. Then you will want to try this. Tested on Windows 10 x64. Click on start button settings then go to update and security then windows security and app and browser control then exploit protection settings program settings add program to customize settings then choose exact file path click on executable to the game when you do a program window will appear go down to dep click overide then under that click off and you should be good to go. This setting use to be easy to check but it doesn't work that way any more. This should work for lead foot and powerslide.

Racer is just mad he is too damn dumb to figure out how to make this game work.
The fact that I have it running on a Win 11 rig with 5800x3d, 32GB 3733, 6800xt on 5120x1440 with Nglide says you are just incompetent.

Steps to run this game properly on Windows 10:
1. Mount the .iso file simply by double clicking on windows 10 or by using some other software such as WinCDemu.
2. Install the game normally from the ISO.
3. Install nGlide. Download it from here:- https://www.zeus-software.com/downloads/nglide
4. The game requires the game CD to be present in CD Drive. You can either play by mounting the ISO file and the launching the game, or, you can download a NO-CD crack and pasting the exe file in game root folder, replacing old files ad necessary. Just search google for "Leadfoot NO CD EXE".
5. On the first launch of the game, you will be prompted to select the graphics card. Select Glide from the options.
6. The game is ready to play!!

I simply installed win xp in virtual box and then installed this game in it. Works like a charm

In my case, the game works only if I deactivate the sound by checking the option in LF_CLO.exe, in addition to deactivating SHADOWS in the video option. It may help someone even if it does not solve the problem with the audio, otherwise I deactivate the sound, the game freezes on the selection screen when moving the mouse over any option.

Oooh boy, good memories, I played this game when I was little, after my parents gave me my first racing wheel (a very cheap one) with the game of Dirt Track Racing 2 included, but funnily enough, I ended up playing more the demo of this game that came inside the extras' menu.
