Get the xplosiv version from archive.org - it has no frame rate issues or cars stopping and going. Its the most stable of the versions and runs on win10
then install xp patch from here in the downloads section.
Then while in race, if you press "d" it removes the hud. And for some reason, when the hud is off, the game plays like vsync is off. Its super fast, but you need the hud.

Managed to get working at 4K 60fps on Windows 10.
The only thing i don't recommend as "FAKKUN" says is the "LREM patch", it breaks the the HUD in-game, it's better to use only dgVoodoo, but it is tricky because the game open two executables, one for game menus, that runs at very low resolution, and another for game rendering that you will use dgVoodoo.
Then sometimes dgVoodoo fails to render the graphics correctly and you need to re-load the race, until you can play without issues.
For me to get it working:
1. Download the ISO and the RIP version.
2. Install XP patch on the RIP version.
3. Install dgvoodoo for your graphics settings and save.
4. Mount the ISO image on drive.
5. Run the game and on menus, set the graphics to 3D and save.

To run on win 7 sp1
1. Download ISO version, not Rip
2. Mount and install. Let it mount, do not demount.
3. Install XP patch.
4. Install LREM patch on ModDB
5. Start the game, then select 3D on settings/video.
6. Have fun.

Friends, I can't get this game to work! I have a PC with Windows 8.1, plenty of RAM and other stuff, yet I can't get It to work properly. Any Ideas, my buddies?

To make it work on Win 7/8.1/10
Install the WinXP patch https://en.ds-servers.com/files/gf/254024
Run the game in WinXP compatibility mode
If it stills crash, select 3D as your graphic driver in game menu.

actually scrap that, to get the game to work, from the RIP version, the iso is needed to be mounted.

tried RIP version on windows 10 x64, it asks for CD, needs as nocd patch, so it won't play.
